The Supreme Court has given a big decision regarding the purchase of sugarcane. On Wednesday, while hearing a petition related to the purchase of sugarcane, the Supreme Court has empowered the states to fix the minimum purchase price of sugarcane. Earlier this authority was with the central government. A petition was filed in this regard by the West Uttar Pradesh Sugar Mill Association in 2005. Which has now been decided.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गन्ना खरीद को लेकर एक बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है. बुधवार को गन्ना की खरीद से जुड़ी एक याचिका पर फैसला सुनाते हुए सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने राज्यों को गन्ना की न्यूनतम खरीद कीमत तय करने का अधिकार दे दिया है। इससे पहले ये अधिकार केंद्र सरकार के पास था। इसको लेकर 2005 में वेस्ट उत्तर प्रदेश सुगर मिल एसोसिएशन की ओर से याचिका डाली गई थी। जिस पर अब फैसला आया है।
