S. Korea's exports of beauty products to Russia up nine fold since 2014: KITA

The rise of Korean pop culture globally... has led to a boom in exports of Korean beauty products to Russia.
According to the Korea International Trade Association, the country's beauty exports to Russia last year amounted to some one hundred-37 million U.S. dollars,... almost nine fold what they were in 2014.
This makes South Korea the second biggest player in the Russian market for imported cosmetics after France.
The association attributes the soaring demand to the good quality of the products and their comparatively low price... along with growing preferences for organic products and online social marketing campaigns.
