As the misuse of social media is increasing to influence the general elections by spreading fake posts, Delhi Police geared up to take strict action under the IT Act. Cyber experts are monitoring closely to curb the fake posts on social media. Speaking to News Nation, Madhur Verma, DCP, New Delhi said that officials are vigil on cyber space and the close monitoring is underway.
