Defending Jacob is an upcoming American crime drama web television miniseries, based on the novel of the same name by William Landay, produced by Apple TV+. The series was created by Mark Bomback and directed by Morten Tyldum, and is set to star Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, Jaeden Martell, Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Sakina Jaffrey, Betty Gabriel, and J. K. Simmons. It will premiere April 24, 2020.[1] The series trailer was released on Apple's official YouTube channel on March 25, 2020.[2]
