Covid-19: New infections drop to 54, over 3,000 recovered

The number of new Covid-19 infections in the country dropped to 54 cases today, a new low since the movement control order period began.

Today is also the second straight day that new infection cases have remained in the double digits.

Total cases are now at 5,305.

Meanwhile, 135 patients were discharged today, bringing the number of total recoveries to date at 3,102 or 58.5 percent of the total number of cases.

There were two new deaths reported today.
