Around 3:00 pm on this day in 2019, CRPF personnel Nasir Ahmed was martyred along with 39 fellow jawans when their convoy was targeted by the suicide bomber of Pakistan-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed in Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
