Raman Singh, the longest-serving BJP chief minister, who has led the poll-bound state for 15 years, is hopeful to retaining the power in the upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on November 12 and 20 in two phases. On the other hand, parties like Congress, Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) and the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Communist Party of India (CPI) are also on full-preparedness and eyeing towards the poor and marginalized voters.
