Chhattisgarh elections: First phase ends 70 % turnout despite Naxals attack

Voting for the first phase of Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2018 ended with 70 per cent turnout on Monday which took place in eight Naxal-affected districts spread across 18 constituencies amid massive security. In a two separate encounters with paramilitary forces, seven Naxals were killed and four jawans were injured.
