‘Phool Waalon Ki Sair’ festival promotes communal harmony, says Anil Baijal

Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal recently attended the ‘Phool Waalon Ki Sair’ festival in the city and offered floral chaada at Khwaja Bakhtiar Kaki shrine in Mehrauli. “The festival (Phool Waalon Ki Sair) is known for promoting communal harmony,” Baijal said. The annual week-long festival, celebrated as a symbol of composite culture, is attended by Hindus and Muslims together.
