Two constables deployed at the Chandni Mahal police station have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. They were deployed at a picket outside the mosque from where several Covid-19 positive persons had been evacuated recently. Police are now making a list of the officers who they were in touch with and those who visited the picket point.

सेंट्रल जिले के चांदनी महल थाने में बुधवार रात इन दोनों कॉन्स्टेबल की रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आने पर डॉक्टरों की टीम इन्हें एम्स ले गई। दोनों पुलिसकर्मियों के संपर्क में आए 80 पुलिसकर्मियों को क्वारंटीन कर दिया गया है। चांदनी महल थाना एरिया में आने वाली तुर्कमान गेट चौकी में तैनात 19 पुलिसकर्मियों को भी अलर्ट रहने के लिए कहा गया है और कोविड-19 टेस्ट कराने की हिदायत दी गई है।
