China’s air and water quality significantly improved during coronavirus pandemic lockdowns
  • 4 years ago
The Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment released data on April 6, 2020, that showed air and water quality across the country significantly improved during the first three months of 2020. The pollution levels fell during mass city lockdowns put in place to try and slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus that causes Covid-19. But environmental experts say the improvements may not last long as China lifts lockdowns and its people start to return to work.
