The nationwide lockdown has also affected the business of pharmaceutical companies due to labor and logistics problems. About 60 percent of production in drug companies has come to a standstill, due to which there is a possibility of shortage of medicines and medical equipment in the country in the coming days. देशव्यापी लॉकडाउन के कारण श्रमिकों और लॉजिस्टिक्स की समस्या के कारण दवा कंपनियों के कारोबार पर भी असर पड़ा है. दवा कंपनियों में तकरीबन 60 फीसदी उत्पादन ठप पड़ गया है, जिससे आने वाले दिनों में देश में दवाओं और चिकित्सा उपकरणों की किल्लत की आशंका भी बनी हुई है. केंद्रीय रसायन एवं उर्वरक मंत्रालय के तहत आने वाले औषधि विभाग ने भी इसकी आशंका जताई है.
