Follow along and learn how to make your very own ring.

Materials:
• jewelry wire
• seed beads
• medium-sized beads
• scissors
• pencil

Instructions:

Shape the Band
1. Cut a piece of jewelry wire about 12 inches (30.5 cm).
2. Wrap the middle of the wire around a pencil. To form a loop, spin the pencil while holding the ends of the wire as they twist.
3. Make another loop next to the first one and repeat. The more loops you make, the bigger your ring will be.
4. When you have four or five loops, wrap them around your finger to shape the ring.
5. To close the circle, thread one of the loose ends through the first loop that you made.

Create the Head
1. Thread seed beads on one of the loose ends. Form the beads into a circle to create the crown of the ring.
2. Twist the circle to close off the crown.
3. Bend the crown so it lays flat on the ring.
4. Bead the other loose end of wire with a medium bead and another bead (seed or medium-sized).
5. Thread the wire around the outside of the last bead and back through the next bead. Pull the wire tight.
6. Twist the top bead to fasten it in place.
7. Cut off the extra wire and tuck away any loose ends.
8. Show off your ring!
