Hundreds of patients with critical illness stranded

Hundreds of people from distant corners of the country are stranded outside Safdarjung Hospital and AIIMS. They are waiting for the pandemic to end so they can be treated for cancer, kidney, cardiac problems, and other critical diseases. The two biggest government hospitals were a ray of hope for thousands of sick people before the corona outbreak. Poor and sick who came and too far from home are now stranded amid the lockdown.
