COVID-19 Is the Leading US Killer Claims that the coronavirus
had become the leading cause
of death in the U.S. have circulated in
major new outlets, including Fox News. According to Johns Hopkins University,
as of Friday afternoon 18,002 people in
the U.S. have died due to the coronavirus. A spokesperson for the National Center for
Health Statistics states that between January
and April of 2018, heart disease
killed more than 234,000 people. During the same period,
