Washington requested Seoul share its COVID-19 counter-measures within the military
During a phone meeting, General Suh Wook, said... much of the focus was on encouraging personal hygiene and separating confirmed patients from other soldiers through quick testing.
His American counterpart James McConville, said... his country is learning South Korea's response measures through USFK and is sharing the information with U.S. forces around the world.
The two army chiefs agreed the military has a greater role to play in tackling non-traditional security threats like COVID-19... and promised to continue close cooperation.
