Passover is one of the most sacred holidays in the Jewish religion, which marks the journey from enslavement to freedom as the Israelites’ departed from ancient Egypt after God unleashed a series of plagues on the Egyptians. Jews usually observe the Passover festival with many rituals, including a special religious meal, known as a seder.
