Huge Radio Telescope on Far Side of Moon Gets NASA Funding

The Lunar Crater Radio Telescope just got awarded a Phase 1 grant from NASA’s Innovative Advanced Concepts Program. The half-mile-wide telescope would allow scientists to see the early universe at wavelengths largely unexplored by humans.
