Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of the country to turn off the house lights and light a lamp for 9 minutes on Sunday at 9 pm. After the appeal of PM Modi, there was a discussion about whether other electronic items such as fridges, ACs would be switched off during this period. Now removing the doubts of the people, the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Department has issued a statement. The electricity department has appealed to the people to switch off the lights, keep the fridge, AC and fan running tomorrow.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश की जनता से रविवार को रात 9 बजे 9 मिनट के लिए घर की लाइटें बंदकर और दीया जलाने की अपील की है. पीएम मोदी की अपील के बाद इस बात की चर्चा होने लगी कि क्या इस दौरान लाइट के अलावा बाकी इलेक्ट्रानिक सामान जैसे फ्रिज, एसी भी बंद किए जाएंगे. अब लोगों की इसी शंकाओं को दूर करते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश बिजली विभाग ने बयान जारी किया है. बिजली विभाग ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वे कल सिर्फ लाइटें बंद करें, फ्रिज, एसी और पंखा चलाते रहें.
