A buffalo has to be rescued with a CRANE after the confused animal fell into a mud hole and became stuck.

The incident occurred on Wednesday (April 1) on a main road in the city of Baghpat.

According to local media, when bystanders saw the buffalo they attempted to pull the animal out but after failing to help the buffalo, a crane was called, which managed to rescue the animal after a three-hour operation.
