Venezuelans leave homes to work, despite coronavirus lockdown

Residents in a rundown neighbourhood of Venezuela’s capital say they have little choice but to go out into the streets despite a lockdown imposed more than two weeks ago to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The country’s economy was ravaged long before the pandemic hit, and the health system is broken.
