Breastfeeding Your Infant May Reduce Your Risk For Ovarian Cancer

Women who breastfeed their children may be lowering their risk for ovarian cancer later in life by as much as 24%.
According to a new study breastfeeding for 12 or more months was associated with a 34% reduction in risk for disease.
While breastfeeding for an average of 1 to 3 months reduced risk for the disease by 18%.
Researchers note the relationship between breastfeeding and the disease remains unclear.
The American Cancer Society notes that more than 200,000 women in the U.S.
