Food delivery services help Taiwan’s troubled night markets survive coronavirus pandemic

The coronavirus pandemic is threatening the survival of one of Taiwan's best-known cultural scenes, the night market. To avoid spreading the deadly virus that causes Covid-19, tourists and locals alike are staying home and away from crowded places. Some hawker stalls at the Ningxia Night Market in the capital Taipei are finding a way to stay in business by teaming up with a food delivery service to get their dishes in the hands of those isolated yet hungry customers.
