Rematch for Coronavirus Relief Insiders tell CNBC that the event
will be two-on-two with NFL stars
Peyton Manning and Tom Brady joining. Sources add that negotiations are ongoing,
but the match will likely be in May. Woods would be paired with Manning,
while Mickelson is teaming up with Brady. The event is being organized by
the PGA and AT&T’s WarnerMedia. TNT or another channel
associated with
WarnerMedia is
rumored to be
hosting the match. Woods and Mickelson last faced off in 2018
for a $9 million winner-takes-all prize. Mickelson ended up claiming
the victory after 22 holes.
