The Health Ministry on Wednesday held press conference on Covid-19. Health Ministry, Joint Secretary Lav Agarwal confirmed 1,637 COVID-19 cases and 38 deaths in the country. He said, 386 fresh cases have been reported in past 24 hours. He also informed that 132 patients have been cured successfully. Lav Agarwal informed that 1800 people related with Tablighi Jamaat have been sent to quarantine and hospitals. He also informed that railways is setting up 3.2 lakh isolation and quarantine beds.
