India has recorded the highest single-day spike in fresh cases of novel coronavirus with the number crossing 1,200. The death toll due to Covid-19 also crossed 30 after six people from Telangana who attended a religious congregation in Nizamuddin, Delhi died due to the novel coronavirus.
