The forests of the Dzanga-Sangha National Park, in the extreme southwest of the Central African Republic, are the last sanctuary for the endangered pangolin. A team of researchers and local Pygmy trackers is carrying out a research project unique on the continent: studying pangolins in their natural habitat in order to better understand and protect them.
