This Photographer Brings A Masculine Edge To 1930s Gothic Chic | Suiting Up
  • 4 years ago
The 1930s are thought of as an era preceding a war torn Europe. But in pre-war Berlin, known as the Weimar era, subcultures that challenged gender identity flourished. Rose Callahan, a Brooklyn based photographer, has created an international photographic catalogue of Dandys, men who go the extra mile with their fashion choices. In this episode of Suiting Up, Rose shares how vintage menswear and decadent 1930s Berlin have inspired her fashion choices, as well as her work.
