Coronavirus: North Macedonia introduces curfew

The streets of Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, are deserted on the first night of a curfew put in place in an attempt to stop the spread of the new coronavirus that has so far infected 115 people in the Balkan country. The authorities declared a state of emergency on 18 March, closing schools, restaurants and cafes and banning public gatherings, sports and cultural events
