CHURCH bell-ringers are making a ding dong stand against coronavirus by playing requests for villagers stuck indoors - starting with a Kenny Rogers tribute.
Holy Trinity Church campanologists in the South Yorkshire village of Elsecar near Barnsley told locals via social media to keep their windows open as they played a greatest hits medley of Islands In The Stream, Lucille and Ruby.
