Musicians are among the many freelancers who won’t be covered by the UK government’s coronavirus wage guarantee, while many of them will be renters not helped by the mortgage holiday either. Freelance musician Clare Hoskins says it’s a ‘great concern’, while the General Secretary of the Musician’s Union says the government has “thrown self-employed workers under a bus”.
