COVID-19 will hardly affect India’s defence procurement: Rajnath Singh
  • 4 years ago
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on March 20 said that there would certainly be an impact of the global economy amid coronavirus but it will hardly affect India's defence procurement deal. “There would certainly be an impact of the global economy on all nations. But I feel there would be hardly any impact on India's defence procurement. The procurement procedure will be for the next five years. Also, we can't rule out the possibility that the global economy will improve in the next 2 to 5 months,” said Singh on the impact of the current situation on the global economy amid coronavirus.
