Chauhan, who came to meet BJP MLAs amid the ongoing political crisis in Madhya Pradesh, said that if the rebel MLAs living in Bengaluru had come here, they could have been in danger of their lives. The government wanted that they should be stopped on the way and they should not reach the assembly. Former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that when the rebel MLAs of the Congress residing in Bengaluru are coming to Bhopal, the Central Reserve Police Force is demanding the protection of CRPF , So what is the problem in providing this to the Madhya Pradesh government, why is it not saying that it will give protection to the MLAs.

मध्यप्रदेश में चल रहे राजनीतिक संकट के बीच बीजेपी विधायकों से मिलने पहुंचे चौहान ने कहा कि बेंगलुरू में रह रहे बागी विधायक अगर यहां आते, तो उनकी जान का खतरा हो सकता था। सरकार चाह रही थी कि इन्हें रास्ते में रोक दिया जाये और ये विधानसभा में न पहुंचे।पूर्व सीएम शिवराज सिंह चौहान नेकहा कि जब बेंगलुरू में रह रहे कांग्रेस के बागी विधायक भोपाल आने के लिए केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल CRPF की सुरक्षा की मांग कर रहे हैं, तो मध्यप्रदेश सरकार को इसे मुहैया कराने में क्या तकलीफ है, वो क्यों नहीं कह रही है कि वो विधायकों को सुरक्षा देगी।
