Communities in Mamasa Regency, West Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, have a unique tradition when celebrating their regional birthdays... a pig catching contest.

This particular race, held on Tuesday (March 17), shows the participating residents try to catch pigs with their eyes covered in black cloth.

The winner has the right to bring home the pig.
