Local non-governmental organisation Soap Cycling has started a one-month campaign to distribute hygiene kits, including masks, soap and hand sanitisers to about 2,800 street cleaners all over Hong Kong. The “Soap to Cope” programme also gets volunteers out teaching sanitation workers about proper hand washing in an effort to keep them safe as the city battles the coronavirus that causes Covid-19.
