The SBI board has given the largest lender an "in-principle" approval to invest in the capital-starved Yes on Thursday, The SBI a late night notification, the country’s largest bank said that the central board discussed the bank’s plans to acquire stake in the private sector lender and has given an in-principal approval to explore investment opportunity in the bank.

वित्तीय संकट से जूझ रहे देश के चौथे सबसे बड़े प्राइवेट बैंक यस बैंक का कामकाज आरबीआई ने अपने हाथ में ले लिया है. ग्राहकों के पैसे बचाने के लिए शर्तों के साथ निकासी की सीमा तय कर दी गई है. इस बीच स्‍टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया बोर्ड ने नकदी संकट से जूझ रहे यस बैंक में निवेश के लिए ‘सैद्धांतिक’ स्वीकृति दे दी है. यानी अगर सब कुछ ठीक रहा तो आर्थिक संकट में फंसे यस बैंक में देश के सबसे बड़े सरकारी बैंक SBI की हिस्‍सेदारी होगी.
