Megan Thee Stallion's Label
Fails to Block New Music 1501 Certified Entertainment filed an emergency hearing
to dissolve the temporary restraining order
Megan Thee Stallion was granted earlier this week. According to TMZ, a judge rejected the label's motion,
which would have prevented the rapper from
dropping her new project, 'Suga,' on Friday. On Monday, she filed a lawsuit against 1501 claiming
the label's CEO, Carl Crawford, was blocking her
from releasing new music after she attempted
to renegotiate her contract. She was granted a temporary restraining order
which prevented the label from
blocking her future releases. The Houston native shared the album art and track list for the project on social media.
