Stop Releasing Balloons Into The Air

Oftentimes during celebrations people release balloons into the air but it's not as harmless as you may think. For years environmental groups have pushed to ban the released of balloons, saying its dangerous to wildlife. According to Mother Nature Network, some animals may mistake them for food and other may get stuck in the strings. An outreach specialist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said this can make it difficult for them to swim or breathe.
