Beijing limits crowds after surge of people in supermarkets

Fearing a resurgence of crowds as Covid-19 cases drop, Beijing is not taking any chances, keeping shoppers apart in supermarkets, limiting numbers in parks, and one hair salon is even avoiding doing time consuming hairstyles. In China -- where the new disease has killed nearly 2,800 people -- the spread of infections has slowed, but many businesses remain shut and residents are encouraged to stay at home, but that has not led to looser controls in the city of 20 million.
