Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria attended the "Centre for Air Power Studies Seminar" in Delhi on Feb 28. Speaking at the event, Bhadauria remembered important aspects of "Balakot airstrikes" and said, "IAF successfully struck target chosen. Pakistan Air Force responded 30 hrs later with a large package of aircraft under Operation Swift Retort, and IAF ensured that they weren't able to hit targets. They were in a hurry to disengage. They were doing it for their domestic audience." Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat were also present at the event.
