Tenant from hell leaves rented apartment in filthy condition in Thailand

This is the horrific state that a tenant left a rented property in filthy condition after living there for SIX years.

The man left the room in Chonburi, eastern Thailand, earlier this month. When the landlady checked the room on February 14, she was disgusted by the mess.

Property owner Pranee Thongchai, 56, found her single-room apartment covered with thousands of pieces of rubbish, including beer bottles, plastic bags and empty food packaging.

The bathroom was coated in filth and the fridge had thick layers of black mold.

Pranee said the male tenant had rented the room for more than six years, but she had never checked the room inside because he always paid the rent on time and whenever she met the man, he appeared well-dressed.

She said: "I did not think his room would be full of trash like this. He also urinated in the bottles and left them in the room. We can not bear the bad smell of the room.

"Sadly, I don't even know his name. He disappeared after I told him to move to a new room. I would like him to come back and help us to tidy up the huge pile of rubbish he had made.

Pranee said she told the man to leave earlier this month as she wants to sell the property. She now has to be the equivalent of hundreds of pounds to clean and re-decorate the apartment.
