I gave most of my thoughts about being stranded on Poas already, but I'll reiterate that it was an extremely stupid decision by us to Uber to a Volcano when we were depending on using Uber to get home. Especially considering our LTE was basically non existent outside of San Jose. Shoutout to Christian, the director of comms for the Costa Rican soccer team. Not only was he nice enough to drop us off at La Concha, a club filled to the brim with 20 year old U.S. college students on vacation, but he also gave us some insight into what Costa Rica is all about. Move over, Jamol.
