Colombian truck drivers have joined students, teachers and other educational workers on a national strike, as violence continues to claim the lives of activists and demobilized guerrilla fighters. Also, Former President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, has condemned the decision to ban him from standing as a Senator in the upcoming general elections. And, Iran saw a massive turnout in parliamentary elections this Friday, the initial results of which are expected to be announced on Saturday.
