Golden Retriever dog resting in a cat flap earned the wrath of a feline who repeatedly hit it in the face until the pooch relented in this hilarious Reddit video
This hilarious video that has gone viral on Reddit shows the painful struggles of a cat trying to cohabit with a dog– which has decided to have a nap right in the middle of the catflap.

In the clip, already upvoted more than 34,000 times since it was uploaded five hours ago, a dog that looks like a Golden Retriever is seen with its head lying in a cat-shaped hole which has been designed with pointy feline ears in mind.
Looking oblivious, the dog is then repeatedly batted in the face by a tiny paw belonging to a cat, who tries in vain to get through the door.
With a carefully-aimed swipe nearly hitting the dog in the eye, the pooch finally gives up and moves aside so the white cat can stroll through the gap.

However, the dog has not learned its lesson and instantly puts its nose back in the cat doorway.

Seeming to appreciate the strategy of the cat, one Reddit user said: "The cat had to come out with the true eye stab threat before the dog moved haha."
"Hitting the dog in the face until he lets you through, unless you're the dog, then it's a password," suggested a second viewer.

Some people expressed pity for the dog and thought it was being seriously bullied by the cat, but other people were dubious.

"Doggo knew what was going on. Odds are this is a regular thing with them," noted somebody.
"I need that cat door for my bedroom door. Cat can't shut a door to save his life," mused another animal lover.

Meanwhile, this elderly dog has also earned the love of Reddit users after the pooch's owner posted a video of its adorable morning routine.

And a man was left startled when he bought a pet cam to keep an eye on the cats– but it made an unexpected recording.

This hair-raising video shows how a fearless snake catcher gently traps a highly-venomous black mamba slithering around a man’s tool shed.

Jason Arnold, a snake expert from South Africa, talks fondly about the juvenile animal throughout the video and says it is "always ready to bite".
The scaly reptile is clearly desperate to escape but Jason manages to remove its hiding places on the shelf and scoop it up in his hands – later rehoming it at a nearby nature reserve.

Rightly terrified, the unnamed resident found the black mamba, a species of extremely venomous snake, coiled up behind car parts at his home in Avoca Hills, Durban.

Talking about his unusual job later, Jason said: “I have always been intrigued by snakes, but only at the age of 13 was I properly ‘introduced’ to them by a friend of mine at the time.
“From that point on there was no looking back. My entire working career from 1997 until now, I have wo
