Tourists admire thousands of tulips at a flower festival in northern Thailand.

Colourful footage from February 10 in shows more than 25,000 tulips on display at the Nong Buak Haad public park. The blooms at the park in Chiang Mai included lily, lotus and orchid plants.

Chiang Mai Mayor Tussanai Buranupakorn was invited to be president of the 44th biggest international floral event.

He said: "Visitors will have a chance to appreciate the stunning beauty of millions of elegant flowers. Some kinds of the blossoms we exhibit are very rare."

The floral exhibition is now open this month for tourists to admire the elegance of winter flowers.
