हिंदू धर्म में अक्सर त्योहार और व्रत की तिथि और मुहूर्त को लेकर लोगों के बीच कंप्यूजन बना रहता है। कुछ ही दिनों बाद माघी पूर्णिमा का व्रत आने वाला है। ऐसे में एक बार फिर लोग इस व्रत की सही तिथि को लेकर असमंजस में नजर आ रहे हैं। माघी पूर्णिमा को एक मास का कल्पवास पूर्ण भी हो जाता है। इस वर्ष माघी पूर्णिमा 8 फरवरी से आरंभ होकर 9 फरवरी तक रहेगी। इस खास दिन श्रद्धालु अपने क्षेत्र की नदियों एवं पवित्र सरोवरों में माघी पूर्णिमा को स्नान का पुण्य प्राप्त करते हैं। हिन्दू मान्यताओं के अनुसार माघ स्नान करने वाले मनुष्यों पर भगवान विष्णु की कृपा बनी रहती है और उन्हें सुख-सौभाग्य, धन-संतान और मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।
