Thousands of women gather to perform record-setting 'swords dance' in west India

2126 female dancers gathered to sway and spin with swords in their hands in an attempt to set a world record in the western Indian state of Gujarat.

The incredible event took place on January 28 in the town of Rajkot, as the women performed the "Talwar Raas" or sword dance, conducted by the Rajkot Royal family association.

The performance was part of an attempt to set a world record for most people dancing simultaneously with swords.
