Children are seen playing in a tide of plastic waste washing up on a beach in Padang on January 29.
Tons of rubbish was been washed onto the beach after being pushed upstream due to flooding in the cities canals and rivers.
Adek, one of the children, told Newsflare's filmer that he collects aluminium cans from the beach and sells them to recyclers.
