Street art transforms Quinta Do Mocho district in Lisbon

The Quinta Do Mocho district in Lisbon - once considered a "no-go zone" - has been transformed by street art. In 2014, the town hall organised a street art festival, offering to paint walls in the district. Since then, the event takes place every year, raising awareness on issues like racial discrimination and contributing to a reduction in the crime rate, local authorities say.
