Kerala Assembly began with chaos on January 29. United Democratic Front (UDF) MLAs protested against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) in the state assembly. MLAs also raised slogans including 'recall Governor’ as Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan arrived in the house. Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan also accompanied the Governor during state assembly. Due to continuous protest, state assembly marshals escorted Governor Khan to his chair.
